Collaborate with Faculty
As a COM student at 91AV, you have the opportunity to collaborate with faculty in a broad range of basic science, clinical, and medical education research. Among the faculty projects there are six areas of concentration.
Funding opportunities
91AV COM students can apply for funding to conduct research projects through either the 91AV COM Dean’s office (Peter Morgane Student Research Fellowship) or the 91AV COM SGA (Carmen Pettapiece Student Research Fellowship). These are great opportunities if you wish to participate and obtain experience in biomedical, clinical, experiential, or translational research either at 91AV or at other locations. Research projects can have a basic science, community health, clinical, and/or osteopathic orientation. Applications are evaluated through respective review processes and selections are made accordingly.
There are also externally funded opportunities you can apply for.
