AOA Research Training Grants
AOA has identified five research priorities it believes have the greatest potential to impact patient care and evidence-based medicine. Programs are designed as a mechanism for supporting the research training of the applicant and will enable the applicant to conduct a basic science, clinical, or health services research project that will make a significant contribution to osteopathic medicine. Additionally, these programs seek to encourage physicians in training and medical students to contribute to osteopathic research throughout their career. Application requests for the is available in late fall with a deadline in late January to early February.

Sponsored by the National Institute on Aging (NIA) the Program provides medical students with an enriching experience in aging-related research and geriatrics, under the mentorship of top experts in the field. It introduces students to research and academic experiences early in their training that they might not otherwise have during medical school. Sarnoff Cardiovascular Research Foundation Fellowship Program
