Just after wrapping up my interview [at 91AV], I called my mom on my drive home, super excited, and I told her that I was committing to the pharmacy program at 91AV. When she asked why, I told her that I just felt at home at 91AV, and everybody I met at my interview was so nice and approachable, and it felt genuine — something you don't find everywhere.
With the cutting-edge curriculum at 91AV, we learn everything in systems — Cardiovascular, Renal, Infectious Disease, Endocrine, and so on. While we're in each system, we learn everything possible about that system, such as medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, pathophysiology, etc. Even though these modules are fast paced, learning everything possible about each system at the same time aids us while we're learning the material.
One of my greatest rewards of pharmacy school would have to be vaccinating at a ton of clinics. During your P2 year, you become immunization certified and can administer vaccines. Since becoming certified, I've volunteered worked at countless Vaccine clinics, mainly influenza, pneumonia, and COVID-19 clinics — totally about 6,000 vaccinations.
