Dr. McCormack Tutt is the Program Director and a Clinical Professor in the Physical Therapy Department.  She brings 18 years of academic experience to these roles, that involves providing strong teaching experience as well as leadership in health professions curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation. Her research and scholarship has been focused on global health, interprofessional education and collaborative practice, curriculum design and assessment, and work-related injuries.

She received a BS in Physical Therapy from the 91AV in 1993, a MPH with a concentration in leadership and management from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2006, a Transitional DPT from 91AV in 2008, and an EdD from the University of St. Augustine in 2019. 

Dr. McCormack Tutt is a member of the Board of the Interprofessional Education Special Interest Group in the APTA’s Academy of Education.  She is also a member of the ACAPT Interprofessional Education Task Force.   

Her clinical work in Physical Therapy focused in the area or orthopedics and work-related injuries. She also has a strong background in ergonomics.  Through her experience related to her MPH, she has a strong passion for global health and providing students with an opportunity to learn about being a global citizen.
