Joel has worked at 91AV since March of 1998, first in the COM Curriculum Office and then in Graduate and Professional Student Affairs since August of 2002.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Southern Maine.  Before coming to 91AV, he worked for the Jewish Community Center and Jewish Federation of Southern Maine (now known as the Jewish Community Alliance).  He is a landlord in the Portland area and current president of the Riverton Community Association.
