After a varied career of over 44 years in public health dentistry in Saskatchewan, Canada and private practices in Wells, ME and Portsmouth, NH, Dr. Lamothe retired in November 2015. For five years, he also taught dental radiography, dental assistants, and EFDA students at York Community College. Now he seems to be busier than ever. He spends two days per week at the 91AV College of Dental Medicine, manages his family's rental home at Province Lake, NH, and continues an avocation as an artist/designer. Many of his paintings may be seen in the Eastport/Farmington coordinator's office.
Dr. Lamothe lives in Wells, ME with his wife of over 35 years, Cindel. They have two children. His hobbies include art, hiking, being at the lake, snowshoeing in the winter, and riding his ElliptiGO cross-trainer bicycle.
