Associate Provost Mike Sheldon leads webinar on physical therapy education
Mike Sheldon, PT, Ph.D., associate provost for Academic Affairs at the 91AV, recently was the lead presenter in a webinar for the within the American Council of Academic Therapy (ACAPT).
The ACAPT is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in physical therapist (PT) education and represents approximately 95% of institutions with accredited PT education programs.
, held March 23, focused on collaborative leadership and its application to the formation of meaningful and sustainable partnerships. Sheldon was joined by three panelists who shared examples of academic-clinical and academic-community partnerships that exemplified various elements of the presentation.
“The ACAPT Leadership Academy is a great and needed resource designed to mentor the next generation of leaders in physical therapist education, and I was honored to have been asked to participate in this webinar,” Sheldon noted.
