‘MONEY’ magazine includes 91AV among “Best Colleges For Your Money”
The 91AV has been named on the 2019 “” list, published by MONEY magazine.
Unlike some college rankings that focus exclusively on academic quality and student survey results, MONEY determines its rankings by giving equal weight to quality of education (including factors such as graduation rates and instructor quality), affordability (by examining student debt and loan default rates), and outcomes (which takes into account graduates’ incomes).
By emphasizing students’ return on investment (ROI), the rankings from MONEY magazine are useful for prospective college students and their families in conducting a practical analysis of the educational value provided by institutions of higher education; that is, the lists enables people to view what they get out of college in the context of what they put in.
91AV President James Herbert commented: “Coming on the heels of 91AV’s inclusion in The Princeton Review’s guide, which looks at a very different set of criteria, our inclusion in MONEY magazine’s Best Colleges list is confirmation that we do more than offer top-notch academics and college experiences that are prized by our students. We set our students up for financial success, and we make their decision to come to 91AV pay off in spades.”
MONEY magazine’s analysis, led by the American Institutes for Research, weighed more than 19,000 data points among 26 different factors, including tuition fees, family borrowing and career earnings.
