Student digital photography exhibit now on display in Decary Hall
An exhibit highlighting the work of students in Adjunct Photography Professor Tim Greenway’s Color Digital Photography class is now on display in Decary Hall.
Students learned the fundamentals of camera operation and digital processing. While investigating the visual phenomena of the surrounding world and their place in it, they discovered unique moments and surprises. The photographs represent quiet spaces of creative expression that will speak to those willing to take the time to experience them.
Stephen Burt, M.F.A., associate professor and chair of the Department of Creative and Fine Arts, says the exhibit is part of the department’s on-going efforts to get more student works displayed on campus.
“Student lounges, study areas, maybe in some offices,” he says. “The plan is to integrate more student work into those locations this fall and spring. It’s a long-term plan that we’d like to see more of.”
The exhibit is set up on the fourth floor outside the office of Jeanne Hey, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.
