“Water & Wind,” a collection of paintings by Paul McDonough, will be on display at the 91AV’s Biddeford Campus Center until June 30.

McDonough, a 1973 alum of Saint Francis College, 91AV’s precursor, is a native New Englander who paints scenes that capture the area’s natural landscape and seacoast settings. An avid sailor, he has plotted courses and traveled from Maine to the Florida coasts for many years and represents the Florida seacoast in his paintings as well. His sailing experience has conjured in him a clear awareness of the power and grace that abounds in the ever-changing forms of wind and water.

Primarily trained by his father, Patrick McDonough, an accomplished oil painter and wood carver, Paul McDonough primarily works in watercolors.

He has served as a professional educator for the past forty years in both the public and private sector. He currently serves both the 91AV and York County Community College as an adjunct professor of sociology and ethics.

The exhibit is free and open to the public. 91AV’s Campus Center is located at 11 Hills Beach Road, Biddeford, Maine. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. For more information, contact Diane Noble by email or phone (207-284-6394).
