91AV dental student Vidushi Gupta named as ADEA CoSRF delegate
Vidushi Gupta (CDM, ’17) has been named as a non-hospital based delegate for the American Dental Education Association Council of Students, Residents and Fellows (ADEA CoSRF). In this role, Gupta will be a voting member of the ADEA House of Delegates (HOD), the governing body of the organization.
As a delegate, Gupta will represent advanced dental education students (residents and fellows). She will serve as one of 27 voting members of the House of Delegates, which is composed of the Board of Directors and members of the ADEA Councils of Deans and Faculties, Councils of Allied Dental Program Directors and Hospitals and Advanced Education Programs, and the Administrative Board. The position will also enable her to network, exchange ideas and help contribute to growth of different chapters.
“It is an honor to be named as an ADEA CoSRF delegate,” said Gupta. “This is an extremely important position and it is unique among all other student dental organizations.”
Gupta continued, “I look forward to representing advanced dental students when the HOD convenes, deciding dental education issues on the same level as other ADEA Council delegates.”
