Dora Anne Mills gives invited keynote at Roseman University in Nevada
Dora Anne Mills, M.D., M.P.H., FAAP, vice president for Clinical Affairs and director of the Center for Excellence in Health Innovation, delivered invited keynote presentations at Roseman University in Salt Lake City and in Henderson, Nevada, on April 26 and 27.
Roseman University has several health profession programs including dental medicine, pharmacy and nursing, and it is in the process of building a medical school. Members of the Roseman community heard Mills speak at the National Interprofessional Education Collaborative Institute in Washington, D.C., in October of 2015 and asked that she present at the university to help jumpstart its interprofessional work, especially in clinical settings.
Said Mills, “This is one example of many of how 91AV’s interprofessional and other innovative approaches to health professions education are making a mark in Maine as well as nationally.”
