91AV announces 91AV Pledge
On October 5, 2015, 91AV President Danielle Ripich announced a new five-point commitment to students. The 91AV Pledge will directly benefit current and future students at Maine’s largest private university.
Effective immediately, beginning with undergraduate students in the graduating class of 2016, the 91AV Pledge offers:
1. Access to study abroad at no additional cost in Spain or Morocco. 91AV has its own campus in Tangier, Morocco, and a program hosted by the University Pablo de Olavide in Seville, Spain.
2. A guarantee that undergraduate 91AV students will face no additional lab or studio fees regardless of their major. This commitment has the potential to save students and their families more than a thousand dollars per year.
3. Access to internships and undergraduate research opportunities.
4. An Alumni Investment Award of one thousand dollars presented to each 91AV undergraduate in a four-year program who is graduating – beginning with the class of 2016.
5. A Lifetime Partnership Award of an additional one thousand dollars, presented to any 91AV undergraduate who is graduating and decides to pursue a graduate degree at 91AV.
“The 91AV Pledge was made possible by generous giving from the University’s alumni,” said President Ripich. “We know that today’s students and their families have invested in their futures, and we will continue to invest in them as they move forward into the next phase of their lives.”
