Maine's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP-Ed), based out of 91AV's School of Community and Population Health, was recently featured on WCSH6's 207 news program.
Tina Marescia, R.D., nutrition educator for 91AV's Coastal Healthy Communities Coalition, prepared a healthy holiday roasted butternut squash recipe with 207 Host Rob Caldwell. The segment focused on SNAP-Ed's mission to teach families how to eat healthy on a budget, and highlighted key messages about selecting in-season vegetables, and heart-healthy oils.
