Michael Sheldon elected to second term on ACAPT board of directors
Michael Sheldon, P.T, Ph.D., director of the Department of Physical Therapy, was recently elected to his second term on the board of directors of the American Council of Academic Physical Therapy (ACAPT).
In his role, Sheldon serves as the voting representative for 91AV. Like Sheldon, many of the institutional voting representatives who serve on the ACAPT board are program directors or deans of universities and colleges with Physical Therapy programs.
“The voting members in this election were program peers from across the country, so I am very honored to have been elected to a second term,” commented Sheldon.
Part of the American Physical Therapy Association, ACAPT is an organization that aims to advance accredited physical therapist education programs across the United States while promoting high standards of excellence.
