Josh Pahigian appears on Boston's WBZ and in the Christian Science Monitor
As the 2015 baseball season began, Josh Pahigian, M.F.A., visited WBZ 1030 AM’s Boston studios for an hour-long appearance on Dan Rea’s "NightSide" program. Pahigian who is an adjunct faculty member in the 91AV Center for Global Humanities and spent ten years teaching writing in the English Department, talked about his latest book, , offering tips on the best places in New England for baseball fans to visit.
101 Baseball Places to See Before You Strike Out also recently received prime placement in a article on the best baseball books to read this spring. Pahigian’s book was featured first in the round-up of eight new books. The section on 101 Baseball Places provides an excerpt of Pahigian’s chapter on the Roger Maris Museum in Fargo, North Dakota.
The popular Inside SoCal blog also recently featured an article about 101 Baseball Places in which author Tom Hoffarth highlights some of the new sites Pahigian has included in this edition of the book, including a statue of baseball funny-man Bob Uecker in the last row of seats at Miller Park in Milwaukee and the Homer and Bart Simpson statues at the home park of the Albuquerque Isotopes, who got their name from a memorable episode of the show.
