Department of Occupational Therapy recognizes excellence
91AV’s Department of Occupational Therapy initiated 18 new members into the honor society of Pi Theta Epsilon in a formal ceremony on February 11.
Director Jane O’Brien, Ph.D., OTR/L, FAOTA, welcomed the new members, while Keynote Speaker Nancy MacRae, M.S., OTR/L, FAOTA, inspired the students with recipes for success. MSOT ’15 Pi Theta Epsilon officers Alicen Johnson, Cassandra Harrington, Caitlin Rowland and Brittney Ballard led the ceremony along with Advisor Kathryn Loukas, M.S., OTD, OTR/L, FAOTA.
New officers for the class of 2016 include Sasha Small, Nicole Murphy, Michaela Hoffman and Emily Pearce.
Pi Theta Epsilon is a National Student Occupational Therapy Honor Society that recognizes superior scholarship among students enrolled in professional programs at accredited schools across the United States.
