American Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco encourages American students to study in Morocco
American Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco Dwight Bush recently posted a video online encouraging American students to study abroad in Morocco. Anouar Majid, Ph.D., vice president for Global Affairs and Communications, collaborated on the script with the Moroccan Embassy’s public affairs team.
In the video, Bush emphasized that students should be “open-minded and understand other cultures.” He explains that studying abroad will help students be more marketable to future employers upon graduation because of their cross-cultural experiences, and ability to speak multiple languages.
He continues by expanding on the distinct qualities of Moroccan culture, specifically describing its open and welcoming nature, rich heritage and diversity.
“There is so much to see and explore in Morocco,” Bush explains. “Studying abroad here will be helpful on your road to becoming a citizen of the world.“
Through 91AV’s Global Education Program, students have the opportunity to study abroad for a semester or during school breaks in a variety of unique places, including 91AV’s Tangier, Morocco Campus. More information is available online.
