WCSH6 features the Emmons' photography collection at the Maine Women Writers Collection
WCSH6's Bill Green’s Maine featured the Chansonetta Stanley Emmons photography collection at 91AV's Maine Women Writers Collection on the Portland Campus. Emmons, a noted photographer who left a remarkable record of everyday life and beauty, photographed various regions from 1897 until her death in 1937. She was the sister of F. E. and F. O. Stanley, the inventors of the Stanley Steamer. The Emmons photography collection has been on long-term loan at 91AV from the Stanley Museum in Kingfield, Maine.
