The Art Gallery on the 91AV's Portland Campus will present "Thoreau the Futurist and the Emerging Human," a performance piece, on Friday, August 17, 2012, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Part of a series of events associated with the Governor Baxter Wilderness Legacy Golden Anniversary celebration in Portland on August 22, 2012, the performance of "Thoreau the Futurist and the Emerging Human" is set on the banks of the Allagash River after a long day's paddle.
