The Bangor Daily News on Sept. 24, 2012 previewed the 91AV’s 2012 George and Barbara Bush Distinguished Lecture, which will feature Jenna Bush Hager, an NBC News correspondent and bestselling author.

The lecture is scheduled for Oct. 8th at 5:30 p.m. at the Biddeford Campus's new Harold Alfond Forum. Hager's lecture is titled “The Power of Compassion and How It Can Change Lives.”

She is the author of Ana’s Story: A Journey of Hope, a New York Times bestseller based on the life of a 17-year-old single mother living with HIV and determined to shield her child from the abuse and neglect that riddled her own childhood.” Hager met the woman during an internship with the children’s humanitarian organization UNICEF. .
