Press Herald covers Campus Center's new solar hot water system
The on March 25, 2011 ran a story on the installation of new solar panels on the roof of 91AV's Campus Center in Biddeford. 91AV received a $50,000 grant for the solar hot water system and performance monitoring display, which is expected to provide up to 50 percent of the Campus Center’s hot water energy supply. Alethea Cariddi, the university’s sustainability coordinator, explained that the project is part of a “multi-pronged strategy the university is taking to achieve our climate neutral goal.” More information.
