91AV SPARTACUS program focus of Journal Tribune story

A story in the Journal Tribune (Biddeford) on Oct. 15, 2009 focused on Biddeford Middle School's participation in 91AV's SPARTACUS program, funded by a $2.87 million grant from the NSF. The program, designed to look at the interrelationships of physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and geology in a local watershed, pairs 91AV researchers and graduate students with K-12 science and math teachers. The Journal Tribune story featured Ann Putney's sixth grade class and 91AV marine science graduate student Chris Lernihan, as well as 91AV program manager Henrietta List.
