12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Portland Campus, Biddeford Campus

Rates of substance use disorders, including opioid misuse, continue to rise despite national initiatives. Because of this, 91AV seeks to ensure that all relevant health professions know the fundamental elements of evidence-based Medication-Assisted Treatment for opioid use disorder. This case-based interactive session will engage learners in developing an interprofessional work plan that provides comprehensive care for a person with an opioid use disorder.

Competencies: Teamwork, Roles & Responsibilities

Attendance to this event can be applied toward students' Interprofessional Honors Distinction/Badge.

This event was designed in collaboration with MAINE PCSS-U/SAMHSA Grant and the  91AV College of Osteopathic Medicine
