Placebo response in clinical trials with schizophrenia patients

Dr. Alison Potts is a Neuroscience Medical Liaison Consultant with Eli Lilly and Company working in Massachusetts and Maine. Alison joined Lilly in 1998 as a Clinical Research Associate in Neuroscience and managed several clinical trials in the areas of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and treatment resistant depression. She worked as a Medical Liaison in Canada for two years prior to moving to Boston, MA in 2002. Alison has also worked in short term assignments at Lilly in Regulatory Affairs and Global External Research and Development.
Prior to joining Lilly, Alison completed a Bachelor’s degree in physics in Middlebury, Vermont and a Masters and Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology at the University of Toronto. Alison’s doctoral studies were concentrated in the areas of Psychopharmacology and Abnormal Psychology. Her doctoral research focused on cognitive processing in depression and anxiety.
